Today at EC Fastener Nantong, production paused for something more important — our company-wide fire drill.
The moment the alarm went off, our team did exactly what they trained for: low and steady, covering their mouths and noses, evacuating in order from the cold heading shop floor, down the office stairwells, and out through the warehouse aisles lined with wire rod coils.
And the drill didn't stop at the assembly point. Colleagues took turns putting out a live, controlled fire with hand-held extinguishers, then gathered around for a video briefing to review what went well — and what we'll do even better next time.
